Citizens of the western English town of Weston-super-Mare thought the construction of a dilapidated castle in their defunct water park was for the filming of a movie.

Nope, that's just guerrilla artist Banksy's newest massive-scaled project — Dismaland: Bemusement Park.

The large send-up of Disneyland will open Aug. 21 and will feature of the works of 46 international artist, including installations, workshops and events.

There will be a cinema, mini golf, a circus tent and instructional workshops 'on how to hack billboards'.

A Facebook page has been set up to welcome visitors and give a peek at what's waiting for them in the murky waters of Dismaland.

The site promises 10 new works from Banksy himself, as well as pieces from Damien Hirst, Jenny Holzer and Mike Ross.

Banksy spoke to the Weston Mercury about Dismaland Aug. 20.

"I always loved the Tropicana as a kid, so getting to throw these doors open again is a real honor, I hope that everyone from Weston will take the opportunity to once more stand in a muddle of murky water eating cold chips to the sound of crying children."

It's not too late to plan that summer vacation of your dreams.

Looks like an Oscar-winning movie will join Tangled in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III.

Over the weekend at the Disney-centric D23 expo, Kotaku reported on the newest world coming to the beloved video game series:

Sora and crew will ride the robot Baymax and fight their way through a Big Hero 6 world in Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix announced today during the D23 expo in Anaheim, California.

Big Hero 6, an animated Disney film that stars a 14-year-old prodigy and his team of superheroes as they fight against a mysterious masked villain, was released in 2014 and won the Oscar for Best Animated Film.

Disney put out a whole trailer to announce the addition:

So far, there's been no release date mentioned for the game that mashes up Disney characters and settings within a Japanese-style action game, which unfortunately might mean it won't come until 2017.

For a refresher on what's been shown of Kingdom Hearts III so far, check out this E3 trailer from last June.

Finnish artist and designer, Jirka Väätäinen has made a fantastic series of Disney Princesses (and others) drawn as if they were real life human people. Now, it's the dude's turn. Eight of Disney's hunkiest romantic leads, (princes and no) are turned into life-like pieces of art. Relive your pre-pubescent sexual awakening going through these childhood fantasies, it's only kind of awkward.

The men have been paired with their female counter-parts just to see how well the couples stack up.

Six year old Avery Huffman was recently diagnosed with an inoperable, cancerous brain tumor, but that won't stop her from being a princess! Kristen Bell, voice actress of Anna in Frozen, left a message for Avery letting her know that in light of her bravery, Avery will be crowned an honorary Princess of Arendelle.

No, I'm not crying! Someone is cutting onions in here.

You can learn about Avery's story here, and if you're able, make a donation in her honor here.

Childhood ruined or childhood enhanced? You tell me! These cosplayers are taking crossover cosplay to new heights combining Disney Princesses with Slave Leia, who I suppose is technically a Disney Princess herself!
