We're officially at less than a month before John Stewart's last show with The Daily Show and the goodbyes are in full effect.

Prepare for a barrage by the end of the month. But before we have to weed through the mass of well wishes that will surely flood the Internet, this video does nicely.

Even though we're almost a year until season 6 makes us furious all over again, this makes it the perfect time to reflect on how season 5 destroyed part of your soul.

Other media wanted to get in on that act as well and here's a mash up of some of the best.

As Buzzfeed discovered, this 18-year-old Taiwanese guy is making some incredible mashups out of pop music.

This weaving together of seven songs (mostly those of Taylor Swift with some Pink, Ellie Goulding and Rachel Platten thrown in for good measure) might just be his finest work.

It seamlessly melds together these songs you know in a stunning way.

Well done, smart music person.

Some intrepid fan wants to help the world move on from Jim Carrey's recent anti-vaccination Twitter tirade. Instead, Youtuber Shawn Kohne would like to remind you of an earlier, simpler time. A time when all Jim Carrey wanted to share with you was some good, ol' fashioned pratfalls.

Do you remember that ancient, better world? That world when seeing Jim Carrey's name didn't provoke anxiety because it might include ill-informed sensationalism that puts lives in danger? Do you remember that?

Let this video transport you back there.

With the return of The Walking Dead a few months away and The Last of Us a gleaming memory in many gamers' past, we definitely need something to get us through these zombie-less doldrums of the high summer months.

Enter Youtubers RackaRacka and this expertly conceived and performed mashup of those two IPs.

The video takes the best tropes and inside jokes of The Walking Dead and The Last of Us, creating a whole undead buffet of winks and nods. In fact, there's quite a few spoilers in this video for you walker/clicker noobs out there. However, it goes by so quickly and with such violence, you won't ruin anything for yourself watching it.

One wonders what drove the people behind this video who had the time and the resources to make it. Then one just shuts up and watches the damn thing, ultimately realizing that it's surprisingly great.

We can take only about two or three more of these mash ups before they start to lose their luster.

But for right now, this is pretty great.
