British actor Peter Capaldi will play the 12th incarnation of the Doctor.

You might recognize him from Torchwood or from the Fires of Pompeii episode of Doctor Who, in which he played Caecilius.

Eileen Brennan, worked in film for 20 years before achieving her widest recognition as Capt. Doreen Lewis, the tough superior officer to Goldie Hawn's title character in the comedy "Private Benjamin". The role gave Brennan an Oscar nomination.

I'll always remember her best as Mrs. Peacock from the fantastic 1980's board-game adaptation "Clue". She played a Senator's wife who had a taste for monkeys brains, blackmail and murder.

This is Reza Aslan, a scholar of religion and religious history. As a part of his promotional tour for his new work, Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth, Aslan appeared on Fox to be interviewed by anchor Lauren Green. In maybe the most cringe-worthy piece of conversation ever recorded on the network, Green can't seem to get past the idea that a Muslim scholar would want to write a book about Jesus - who as you may know is something of a standout historical/religious figure across many nations and creeds. But hey, what do I know, I slept through history class.

Old habits die hard, they say.
