Who would win in a fight: the Millennium Falcon, or the USS Enterprise?

A lot of these celebrities didn't know what they were being asked, but to be fair, I didn't know a lot of these celebrities, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Worry not, professional huge nerd Adam Savage brings it home with some fantastic logic, though I for one assumed the Millennium Falcon would just run away and the fight would never happen.

This LEGO Millennium Falcon is over three and a half feet long and 40% bigger than the biggest official LEGO replica.  How well do you think it can manage the Kessel Run?

Seven year old Padawan Colin Gilpatrick wrote a letter to George Lucas after discovering that Jedi could not get married:

Lucasfilm responded with a grab bag of goodies and an a-okay for Colin to wed.

It's too cute, I can't handle it!

Colin's got a few good years to train in the force before setttling down, but it's nice to know he's got the official Lucasfilm blessing when the time comes.

Say what you will about the merits of Interstellar, TARS, CASE, and KIPP (I know it wasn't your fault, KIPP!) were awesmely cool robots.

Cosplayer Ochre Jelly's replica cosplay took three months to build and allows him to walk behind the robot while controlling it.  A smartphone camera lets him see where he's going.  Now if only he could get it to run... or whatever that spinning thing is.

No TARS, not the stairs! Take the elevator!

Ah, much better.

The town of Vulcan, Alberta has launched the most ambitious crowd-funding project in the history of space-time - $2 billion - with the goal of funding real-world warp-drive research. Is it even doable? There are legitimate NASA scientists who say yes. Is it a tourism stunt? Possibly. Is it kinda awesome anyway? F*ck yeah, it is.
